such a judgemental beings we are, ignorance sure is the father of many short comings, most importantly spiritual respect for each other… good show good gathering and hopefully another will take place given there are more cultural styles in the world today… as for the comment on blacks, smh with a smile (brother the cont’ of Africa is the origin of humanity, with that said knowledge is power toward understanding of your true co-existence as spirits in human form…

bajones88 says:

Getting all of those great Martial Artitists under one roof was a once in a lifetime achievement. I think Wesley did a fine job. Jhoon Rhee is a great encouragement and motivational master.

MrRaisedbywolve says:

When reality meets perception, there is often conflict. Just breath, boy. You’ll be alright. ;)

Veteranrockband says:

It was such a pleasure to see the master of my system, Master Lil “Soke” John Davis and his master the late Dr. Moses Powell. So many of my heroes were represented here and for the few of you who were complaining about there not being enough whites who were being honored, consider it an education, because I’d be willing to bet that you hadn’t heard of half of these great men and women.
Thank you Wesley Snipes!

turtlemelody75 says:

Wow, keepin’ it real with the Wu Tang Clan! Powerful introduction! Don’t forget to listen to the Joe Rogan Experience. Train by day, Joe Rogan Experience by night. The future and every other possible future is in our hands. Mind-blowing conversations with quantum physicist Dr. Anit Goswami, astronomer Neil Tyson Degrasse, and comedians Bill Burr and Charlie Murphy to name a few.

999Kyoshi says:

The comments here show that most of the writers are woefully ignorant of martial arts and what it takes to even put something like this together. I was there and my wife interviewed many of the martial artists that participated. It was only sad due to those who didn’t like Master V, and Maestro Peter Urban

jose lopez says:

I saw this when it aired

TheIGPD says:

I know… I did not say otherwise. I just think its funny when traditional Chinese culture clashes with hip hop. Like smash-stereotype-good-funny because it is not your everyday norm to see that. I already read about Sifu Shi Yan Ming in the book I bought from him. The dude is a funny guy, seriously. P.E.A.C.E.

skyjuiceification says:

they love wutang. because those guys popularized their tradition in the innercities. and innercity kids influenced all of u suburban wannabes. the rest is history. u bet they perform to wu tang, proudly.

skyjuiceification says:

he indeed did present it. as he bank rolled it. brought all of these great people together in one room. probably the only man who could do that then. this show literally lead to the mma craze which jumped off just after it aired. folks in the hood got to that before the ufc crowd.

Ken Tucker says:

Yes I forgot the second u thank you.

skyjuiceification says:

jujutsu u mean.

Mongo17 says:

Shi Yan Ming is friends with RZA ;)

OrykaN says:

a good one!

Ken Tucker says:

Remember watching this when I was a kid, so much fun.

Ken Tucker says:

There are two ways to spell it, the Brazilians spelled it Jui-jutsu to make it different from the Japanese Jujtsu.

bigblick101 says:

Eventually he did, but as the saying goes, “do the crime, do the time.”
